Farnaz Amiralaei, MBA (Nazie)
Practice Manager
Nazie earned an MBA with a concentration in finance and holds an undergraduate degree in
accounting. She began her healthcare career in South Atlanta Neurosurgery at its opening
in May 2001. She and her husband Shahram have two daughters, Kimiya and Nava. Nazie
enjoys spending time with her family.
Sherry Ortiz, NP
Marketing Coordinator
Sherry joined our team in 2008 as marketing coordinator. She has been working in the
healthcare field for more than 20 years. She is responsible to identify and develop a
marketing strategy for our growth and improvement. In her spare time, Sherry enjoys
spending time with her 7 grandkids.
Carol Fleming
Billing Coordinator
Carol is the newest to our team and brings a lot of experience to our team. She has been in
the healthcare field for over 20 years. Her responsibilities are numerous and include
insurance and billing, patient accounts, and collections. She can answer any questions
you have about your insurance and account. Carol enjoys spending time with her husband,
Samuel.
Kelly Hayes
Surgery Coordinator
Kelly has been with South Atlanta Neurosurgery since 2001. Kelly is a surgical coordinator
for the practice. She will coordinate all aspects of your surgery. Kelly is also responsible
for check out, and she may be the last person you see at each visit. She is available to
answer any questions that you may have regarding your schedule. In her free time, Kelly
loves spending time with her mom and shopping.
